Summary: I give this product 5 stars for aesthetics and built quality,4 for front speakers and 1 for subwoofer. I keep in mind the fact I'm listening to a sub $200 audio system to be used on my desk top pc. When I want to listen to audiophile quality music I turn to my high end system in the family room.
Summary: last year, i was using the altec lansing 641... until the bass stopped working on it. the company has been very supportive and gave me the new fx-6021. the satellites sounds excellent... and the bass is "acceptable". but recently... my bass started rattling...
Summary: I did a lot of research before buying this and I considered Logitech Z-2300 2.1 THX-Certified 200-Watt Speaker System and other speakers from Altec Lansing or Creative. This one was the costliest and the most impressive tech specs. I use it for Listening Music, Gaming and watching TV/videos.
Summary: The satellites look great, the woofer is OK, the control unit is OK. What really bothers me is the 50Hz buzzing that comes through from the power supply. These speakers can be used with the PC switched off, but without the PC fan noise to drown it out the PSU buzz is very noticable.
Excerpt: I didn't see this when I seeking to a full throated bass multimedia speaker system for my PC. But, my one of my friends got Altec Lansing FX6021. I felt a great music experience there. It's really easy to setup and get on with. FX6021 consist with "InConcert" technology.
Pros: InConcert and proAudio technology, Pure & Clean sounds for low frequency
