Decent speakers, but digital noise is unbearable.

William Derganc, Amazon
23 January 2013
  • Summary: These are decent speakers, but the digital noise they put out as a result of poor circuitry and nearby electronics (I.E. a laptop!), makes them pretty difficult to use at times. For $20 you can do better. For $35 you can get a 2.1 set from Cyber Acoustics that blows these little guys out of the water. Regardless, I'll be looking elsewhere next time I need a set of portable cheapies.

nope

that guy, Amazon
10 January 2012
  • Summary: Im reviewing these as portable speakers and realize that as such i must have realistic expectations. Let me get straight to the point and recommend the orbit speaker, by altec lansing. The orbit has better sound, is much more portable and better build quality. the 1220 gets slightly louder but lacks any detail or liveliness.
