Will go back to spending more with the full set including subwoofer.

Summary: No connectivity to subwoofer, surprisingly cheap price but not exactly what you would expect from Altec Lansing. The sound was a bit disappointing from Altecs device summary. Made for a small room or headphones, lacking solid bass and treble is almost scratchy sounding.
Summary: These speakers don't sound terrible, but their construction is awful. The on/off switch is a stiff knob instead of a button, and it requires two hands to operate because the speakers are so light.
Summary: I like these speakers, but I could not give them five stars due to sound quality. They are very good speakers for the price and would be a welcome addition to any computer or gaming system but if you are really into high fidelity, then these are not what you need.
Summary: I understand why these are no longer available. I've owned these for 3 months after receiving them as a gift and the speaker with the controls already stopped working. They are VERY unstable and ANY amount of movement will knock one or both over.
Summary: I bought these great sounding speakers to listen to my Ipod while in my hobby shop. They have impeccable sound for such a low price, a great investment! They take up very little room and fill the work area with clear crisp quality sound.
Summary: I bought these at Wal-Mart about two years ago, and was astounded at the quality. Compared to the cheap Kinyo speakers I had been using before, these Altec Lansing speakers have much clearer mid-range and bass.
