Summary: Well, I am not going to add anything new. You must have read the same stuff written by other happy users and the reason I am writing this review is to support all good things written about this speaker system.
Summary: For the money these speakers are very good performers they include 2EA:1" forward firing tweeters(total of 4);1ea:2" downward firing midrange spkr(total of 2);plus 1 6&1/2" downward firing subwoofer in it's own cabinet this should be located on the floor (not on PC desktop):be sure that the...
Summary: These babies create fantastic sound, far beyond my imagination! God...they sound even better than any home audio sound system I've ever seen or heard in my house or anyone's house! I just hook up my portable JVC discman or my SONY Minidisc player and right away, the sound is incredible!
Summary: Great product! Great price, really can't be beat. If you want to upgrade to the ATP 5, you can, but there really isn't a need to. Set-up took me a minute, if that. Very easy to use and quick to set up. Only three wires and it goes right into the headphone jack in your laptop or computer.
Summary: wow, I bought these from Compusa with a rebate on them. good deal. My friend had them at his house for some time and they blew me away. these speakers are top of the line. Although the sub might seem small, it really packs a punch, it even plays deeper tones than my 12" sub in my car.
Summary: Let me start by saying that yesterday (4/29)I was perusing sites in search of a decent, reasonably priced speaker setup. I ran across this model, and scoped it here at Amazon. After a bit of research, I decided to take the plunge ... and I placed my online order at 2 in the afternoon.
Summary: The Altec Lansing ATP3 speaker system defies comprehension. First, it represents a tremendous value for the dollar. Secondly, the sound quality is commendable for speakers in this price range. A high level of musicality combining authoritative bass, smooth mid range and treble.
Summary: I've had many computer speakers and these are the best I've had. I'm not interested in surround sound for my computer. These speakers compare favorably to my Bose 201s out in the studio, running on an old Marantz tube receiver.
Summary: I loved these speakers until.... After about ten months of consistent use, both of the connections (subwoofer to speakes and AC adapter to subwoofer) became loose, and eventually caused the system to fail completely. The connection / signal would fade in and out.
Summary: I have owned these speaker for about two years now, and they seem very consistant, no problems at all. Although, I must warn you as time went on, these speakers aren't enough for me now. I am upgrading very soon to a 5.1 system. These speakers compare with other 2.1 systems that cost $150.
