Summary: Had purchased one over 14 year ago,had to look for another I damaged one speaker glued it togeter and got a few more years out of it then decided to look in Ebay saw the price and won the bid! This unit is the best money can buy at the price there going for I dont use it as a DJ throwing a party but I can rock the house when i want to!
Summary: These speakers are truly fantastic. They are better than their little size would lead you to think. I would encourage anyone to get these for your computer. If they had a remote, I would use them to replace my current speakers on my TV.
Summary: It's a nice speaker set, except for one huge problem, no separate volume control for the subwoofer. That is a dealbreaker, because there are sometimes you want to lower the bass, and it's not possible. I'm upgrading to a similar class of speakers but with a subwoofer control.
Summary: I had a set of Alerc Lansing computer speakers. They really sound good. These speaker do sound loud but they do not have a base and treble control. I purchaded a set of creative speakers and put these sperker to the side. The creative speakers won.
Summary: These speakers are hard hitting and easily fill a room with the volume only half way up. The subwoofer sounds best when placed under a desk on the floor. For a 2.1 30 Watt speaker system, this little beauty is suprisingly loud, clear, and excellent for the most basic of audio needs to the more demanding.
Summary: These are a great small office speaker. Very dynamic sound. Full, but not overwhelming bass from the sub, surprisingly good fidelity from the small-ish speakers. Great price on these, makes it great value.
Summary: The ACS-33 PC audio system is not the best you can get. But considering that it sells on Ebay for between $10-20, they are certainly the best speakers you can get for that price and certainly beat out the cheap no-name Chinese speakers they compete with at that price. Pro: great sound, decent volume, small size of speakers, nice design, well made Con: no bass/treble control, subwoofer on the small side (but still plenty for office or bedroom use).
Summary: THE ACS33 SPEAKER SYSTEM CAME WITH THE PC I BOUGHT WAY BACK IN 2001. THE PC WAS AN OFF-BRAND AT THE TIME, KNOWN AS ABS. AFTER RESEARCHING MY OPTIONS FOR BEST PC UNDER $1000, I OPTED FOR THE ABS MAINLY BECAUSE THE REVIEW RAVED ABOUT THE INCREDIBLE CLEAR AND ACCURATE SOUND FROM THE INCLUDED SPEAKERS. I STILL HAVE THAT PC AS A BACK UP, BUT I CONTINUE TO USE THE ALTEC LANSINGS LIKE A SMALL BOOKSHELF STEREO SYSTEM.
