Summary: Here is the skinny: 1. Dragon does a fantastic job with taking dictation, as it is as accurate as others have said. 2. Dragon does not handle voice commands well at all. In fact, I find the Windows 8 free voice recognition software that is built into Windows 8 does a better job and implementing the commands. 3. Creating commands in this version of Dragon is very difficult and unclear.
Summary: Once this program is installed, it is the most handiest tool, especially for those that are somewhat "typing challenged". Once the program begins to know the user and his wording, it runs so smooth it can almost finish one's sentences for him. It's like having your own personal secretary to dictate to.
Summary: Might have serious problems with flash and Firefox
Pros: I have been using Dragon for over 20 years. When it works, it does fine and is indispensable, but the programming in C++ is sloppy and riddled with bugs.
Cons: The program will stall or freeze or hang randomly and for no discernible reason. Check comments other wholesalers and go to Nuance Dragon Forums and read of all the problems for yourself. This app had a more negative comments. The problem began with ver. 11 and you will find more comments on it there.
