Excerpt: Ah...streaming movies, streaming music, streaming games...streaming installation? I understand the move away from installation media, but installing this is soooo finicky! It doesn't play nice with existing firewall rules, and their response was "there's something wrong with your firewall rules, change it or i'm not installing!" ...reminds me of this radio conversation: "Hey dude, we're on a collision course! Change direction!" "No, you change direction!" "No way!
Excerpt: Great for creating newsletters, flyers, brochures, and for DIY greeting cards. Good selection of built-in templates to choose from and there are also many templates available for download in the Microsoft Office website.
Summary: Um, is this product available at all on disc? Because I took the trouble to go to walmart, buy a gift card and order it from a walmart computer only to have it arrive at my house in the form of some download card! D: If I wanted to download it straight from the net I would have just done it IF I had the net at my house. I don't. Seriously though, is it available as a disc??? Because I can't find one.
Summary: It's what I needed. I was originally looking for Microsoft Office Professional. I found that purchasing Home & Publisher separately was less expensive than purchasing the Professional version.
Excerpt: Very pleased with the process of ordering online and picking it up in the store - very nice option! The installation was very straightforward. I had an older version of Publisher, using it primarily for a monthly newsletter, flyers, business cards and special projects. The odd thing with this version is you get directed to the internet to gather templates, etc, and the selection seems limited.
Excerpt: I purchased this today from Office Max. I came home, opened the package, and proceeded to follow the very simple 4 step "start" instructions. After entering the 25 digit product key - the next page asked for Country and Language . . . . OK - sounds simple. Clicked on U.S. and . . . . . . . the Language drop-down would not open. There I sat. I proceeded to call the "contact us" number. Oh . . btw this was at 6:30pm.
Cons: Load Time, totally incompetent customer service
Summary: After purchasing this to use on my laptop at home, I spend hours on the phone to 'Office' just to be told that I can't use Publisher 2013 on my home PC. As I have broken the seal to the box I am also unable to return the product and receive a refund.
Schade.
