Summary: This version of Office for the Mac is great. I have been a windows fanboy for a long time and recently purchased my first macbook air. The software installed w/out issue and works just fine. I'm just having to learn how to use the "Apple way" of doing things instead of the "Microsoft way.

Excerpt: I am an editor and most authors use MS Word, either .doc or .docx. Word and Excel are much stronger, with deeper resources and options, the Track Changes feature is essential, and the Help feature is far more sophisticated than the suite that come with a Mac product. Compatibility with PC software is a must for me. That said, Office for Mac does not hold the formatting well in email and sometimes PC Word documents transfer with scrambled information.
