  • Summary: MS Office Home & Business, For $220 ; you're not even buying a product. You get a Product Key with ' No Physical DVD ' software to actually own !!! Ms Office Pro, $400 and your purchasing a Product Code to download their definition of customer use .. MS office 365 ; what a joke , they're duping us into RENTING their product, for only 1 year, without even getting any Disc Software !! I'll use Wordperfect instead !!

JUNK, JUNK, JUNK. I would rather have MS Office 2007

pmasda, Ebay
26 September 2014
  • Summary: Microsoft has obviously lost focus of the primary purpose of their product, Office! For almost twenty years I have watched Open Office try to catch up with and have a comparable product to Microsoft's, but never quite making it. That is until last year when Microsoft released Microsoft Office 2013. And thanks to the inferiority of it I would have to say that Open Office may now be the superior product. I wish I had the money I wasted on back.

Bring the sandwich, it will take a while

26 August 2014
  • Excerpt: Nightmare!!! Microsoft outdone themselves with registration process. It is terrible!!! If you are contemplating installing multiple copies, go to nearest shrink and get yourself biggest happy pill or "I don't give a poop" pill doctor has. Registration corrupts, restarts, locks up. Microsoft will give you tool to erase the registration process and start from the scratch.I am in the IT industry for 20+ years, Microsoft's quality gradually deteriorates and becoming the...

BAD DECISION

ADB, B&H Photo
28 May 2014
  • Excerpt: I ordered the Microsoft home & Business 2013 after writing @ and getting an assurance that I could immediately install the software. I was not allowed to download the software from outside the USA even if I Dell computer was recently purchased in the USA and Windows 8 was pre-installed. I will be travelling outside the US for several months and I wont be able to install Office until I return to the US even if my registered address is in the US.

Terrible compared to Office 2007 or 2010

Officeuser, Adorama
1 April 2014
  • Excerpt: The main problem with this product is that Adorama will not accept returns on software that has been opened, even though Microsoft explicitly allows refunds on its software. If you find this product to be as useless as I did, you must attempt to obtain a refund direct from Microsoft. I have been waiting five weeks after I requested a refund and I still have not received any communication from Microsoft. The problems with Office 2013 are well documented on the internet.
  • Pros: Includes Onenote
  • Cons: Poorly Designed

I would not buy Office 2013 from B&H

Raccoon, B&H Photo
10 March 2014
  • Excerpt: After receiving the key code in the mail, I spent over 5 hours on the phone with Microsoft customer support, sales and accounts and despite them taking control of my computer, they were all unable to load the program using the key code sent by B&H. They said the program was in suspense and finally Microsoft issued a replacecment CD disk and key code which worked, but it was not worth saving $30 for all the effort on my part.
  • Pros: Terrible
  • Cons: Did Not Work
