JUNK, JUNK, JUNK. I would rather have MS Office 2007
26 September 2014
Summary: Microsoft has obviously lost focus of the primary purpose of their product, Office! For almost twenty years I have watched Open Office try to catch up with and have a comparable product to Microsoft's, but never quite making it. That is until last year when Microsoft released Microsoft Office 2013.
Excerpt: Nightmare!!! Microsoft outdone themselves with registration process. It is terrible!!! If you are contemplating installing multiple copies, go to nearest shrink and get yourself biggest happy pill or "I don't give a poop" pill doctor has. Registration corrupts, restarts, locks up.
Excerpt: I ordered the Microsoft home & Business 2013 after writing @ and getting an assurance that I could immediately install the software. I was not allowed to download the software from outside the USA even if I Dell computer was recently purchased in the USA and Windows 8 was pre-installed.
Summary: The Off-lease PC I purchased keeps popping up the blue screen of death and I can't upload Microsoft Office. Maybe if the PC would work or if someone would answer my emails or messages I could get the problem fixed or replaced and this would have a better review.
Excerpt: The main problem with this product is that Adorama will not accept returns on software that has been opened, even though Microsoft explicitly allows refunds on its software. If you find this product to be as useless as I did, you must attempt to obtain a refund direct from Microsoft.
Excerpt: After receiving the key code in the mail, I spent over 5 hours on the phone with Microsoft customer support, sales and accounts and despite them taking control of my computer, they were all unable to load the program using the key code sent by B&H.
Summary: I truly regret this purchase. I have installed literally 100s of software programs or versions over the last 25 years and none of them come close to this for the sheer annoying ness (?) of the installation or set up particularly on my iPad. Office suite, here I come.
