Pros: I love it. Great price, I got it substantially lower than the $599 list price for $399. I do not like Office 2010, I have the beat and like this a lot more. I have no complaints about the software. Great value, great applications, and it has worked for me, no issues.
Cons: My only con is the quality of the actual disc the product is on. The center of the dvd is cracking, because of taking it out of the case, and it was just burned to a poor quality disc. I don't know why, maybe just an isolated incident, but its pretty pathetic.
Cons: Microsoft changed the interface for all the programs in the programs for no apparent reason. (very frustrating) They also changed the way that outlook looks at emails so that some emails come in and you can't see the text.
Pros: What to say. Its software. Office 2007 is nice, but pricey. What can you do? I work as a pc Network on a large network. I recommend going into the save settings of each program and have it save as the 2003 format. The new formats will confuse users as others will not be able to open them without ...
Summary: Once again Microsoft shows that it thinks that money is more important then the customer. They still believe they can sell what they want to a customer that doesn't want it. Most likely Microsoft was more interested in forcing "recertification" onto users then wether their customer would benefit...
Pros: Very little. Outlook is usful.
Cons: Interface designed to take up the extra screen that I got so I could see what I'm working on, not see Microsoft at it's worse. I also find myself clicking more with this interface then with previous versions.
Summary: We had Apples and Corel when I was in school, what a waste of time learning that stuff.
Pros: Outlook is great, makes buying things on craigslist easy. PowerPoint is fun to play with. I found templates for making paper airplanes. I have a friend who works for Microsoft, and she got me a great deal.
Cons: There is a whole bunch of stuff I will never use (probably not a con) The packaging is a little tricky.
Pros: Great interface, great capabilities. One Note is a pleasant surprise. It's a great little information gathering tool that offers group input. I have no use for InfoPath or Groove so I can't comment on them. The rest of the suite has been around for awhile and proven.
Summary: Works like a champ in XP, Vista, & Windows 7. Files saved for Compatibility w/older versions of Office suite seem to work fine as well. Didn't buy from Newegg though, I received a copy of Enterprise edition through my company for 10 bucks. Can't beat that deal! :)
Pros: All of my original Office applications & features, with more to boot and a beautiful interface. Love the ribbon style! Flawless install, hassle-free updates. Also, One Note rocks. I use it to keep track of a ton of things and the individual notebooks with sections and pages is pretty sweet. The f...
Cons: None that I can think of... may take some getting used to for some.
