Microsoft Lost Their Mind
LARRY P., Newegg
28 April 2014
Summary: Account Requirement "BAD IDEA" Same Junk with Windows 8 . Most dont know how to get around this hassel fortunately there are ways, but no good ones.
Pros: Office OK, With Bugs ,, Always BUGs
Cons: How is it possible Microsoft can be soooo arrogant to require a Microsoft Account , after having paid good money and then be hassled before i can install this an use it. I buy this stuff for Client PC's . They dont want or need Microsoft accounts, this is ridiculous. I am looking for alternatives...
Summary: There are excellent alternatives to paying the excessive Microsoft tax on home office suites anymore. For instance you can download Kingsoft Office Suite 2013, which looks and works almost identical to MS-Office 2010, at a fraction of the foot print size and best of all it's free.
Pros: if you like MS-Office products you will probably like this version. They're good for general office boiler plate word processing, but WordPerfect has many more advanced features. WP does a much better job on large projects like books and legal brief documents. This version features the ribbon bar...
Cons: The download process on this key card version is absolutely ridiculous and unnecessarily time consuming! Why should I have to provide my personal MS User ID to download a copy of software I already paid for, that is being installed on a client's PC??? The file then downloads with no extension, so...
Pros: This update includes all of the regular programs. I use the sticky notes a lot they are a nice addition.
Cons: One note is a bit confusing, it lost some important receipts that I printed to it. All of my old powerpoint files do not work at all, why? this totally sucks.... I may be able to do research and get them to work but why should I have to? For the price and all of the problems listed above the full...
Key card activation required a call to MS which was a pain.
5 February 2012
Summary: Although it was cheap prices, it was also a cheap product as the product wouldn't activate. It required a very painful call to Microsoft for which I had to send them all the proofs of what I had purchased.
Summary: J'avais office 2003.
