Better than its successors unless you prefer to rent your software.

  • Summary: This software is OK. Owning MS Office 2010 is much better than renting the software (MS Office 2013 or newer). If you do not like those alternatives this is the last option for you from Microsoft. Office is still not substantially better than it was 10 years ago, but it is incrementally better. If you want this version get it while you can, Microsoft is doing what they can to do away with it.

  • Summary: I've only had 2010 for a few weeks but all in all Office 2010 seems to be a relatively decent product and fairly reliable/stable... Simply put, a technical improvement over 2007. Given the new way it's bundled, it can turn out to be more expensive to acquire than 2007 was unless all you want to do is upgrade from a previous office product.

  • Summary: Outlook was a little hard to get installed properly. Had to get Microsoft support to finish install. No problems now. Word and Exel much easier to use than 2007 version.

  • Summary: I bought the Office Home and Business 2010 version so I could work from home using my personal computer. My Office Home and Student 2007 version inserts a not for commercial use type of heading on the pages so I don't use it for commercial use. I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 because I didn't need an upgraded features version, I needed the terms of use agreement in the Home and Business version.

  • Summary: I am still learning all the features of this product. I love the way the different applications "speak" to each other when needed. Many shortcuts from the old product.

  • Summary: I am sure MS had its reasons, but there have been a lot of changes to the looks of MS Office that seem to be just for changes sake. A lot of menu bar changes that will require much getting used to. I think it is overpriced but has become a necessary tool. WalMart had the best price for this product.
