Hike in Price?!?

Brian S., Newegg
4 March 2013
  • Pros: No extra media, just a key. You can download the Office 2010 setup file with a valid key code directly from MS.
  • Cons: I was buying these about 2 or 3 times a month to spread across users in several businesses. At $159/each for over a year, it was great! But now, as soon as MS came out with 2013, 2010 licenses are $199???? Could this be because of Microsoft's offer? I think so!!! Microsoft is offering a FREE upgr...

12 August 2011
  • Summary: Some people are confused as to how to install this... As it says on the key-card you are buying, go to: office.om/productkeycard From there you will be able to download your full version of office! No need to buy the super-expensive disk!
  • Pros: Cheaper than retail Office. Easy to install.
  • Cons: Why in the world is this MORE expensive than Windows 7??? It should be the other way around.

Office 2010 Home and Business

Thomas H., Newegg
24 May 2011
  • Summary: I wanted outlook along with word, excel and powerpoint this made most sense for price.
  • Pros: Can be installed on desktop and laptop with one license.
  • Cons: Price. Microsoft removed email and calender applications from Windows 7. To many application only work with outlook so you are forced to buy product. Good marketing by Microsoft.

Good

Anonymous, Newegg
31 March 2011
  • Summary: I primarily use Outlook, Word, and Excel. These three programs are quite good. Unless Microsoft does something spectacular in their next version of Office, I will not bother with them. I almost went with using OpenOffice which is free and does almost everything Office does.
  • Pros: It works. Looks good. Does what it is supposed to do.
  • Cons: The cost. Way too expensive! No upgrade option for previous owners of Office.

  • Pros: Cheaper than other options
  • Cons: License not transferrable License for 1 PC only (as opposed to 2 PC's for the DVD version)
