Summary: fast, easy to use and price right. what more can you ask for? I think the learning curve is definately on track with what one could expect from photo editing software. Much easier to understand than elements or photoshop in my opinion.
Pros: recommend to anyone using photo editing tools
Summary: I have just purchased Corel PaintShop Photo Pro X3 and I am happy with it so far however I found out from Corel that they do not have any Help support is no longer available for this product because it is an older version. However I am satisfied with the service of Amazon however I am disappointed that I can not get on line support from Corel. I previously purchased a Honeywell HE360A1068/U Whole House Powered Humidifier and I am very pleased with this product.
Summary: I have always loved PSP as an option to PhotoShop. X3 is the last version to support Windows XP. The functionality is similar to v.11 but the layout is improved and, more importantly, the speed.
Summary: The Psp X3 I purchased from Amazon just doesn't work. While I was installing it, it will go to 99 %, then stops, doesn't do anything for hours if I let it, and then says that It was terminated because I have another version of the product installed. I didn't. I had to download the program from Corel and of course, it installed right away. So I paid for a defective DVD which I can throw in the garbage... So sad.
Summary: I love Paintshop Photo Pro! I have been using sample programs for a few years, but decided to get the full version, and I do not regret it at all. Great tutorials make it much easier to use, and the results are so pristine! I love it. It may not be ideal for people who do not value putting a lot of time in their work, but if you strive for perfection, Paintshop Photo Pro will be your best friend along the way!
Summary: I had a version of Adobe previous to buying this, but it was lost when my laptop crashed. So I decided to try Corel as it was easier on the wallet. Well, I had difficulty installing properly, then as I attemped to use it, I could not easily upload my images from my card, nor could I catalouge, keep, arrange...gosh ANYTHING I could with Adobe!! I cannot yet upload to Facebook at all, or keep a slideshow...I tried the same images several times...to no avail!
Summary: I really like Paintshop Photo Pro. I have PhotoShop and as amazing as it is, it can be very time consuming and much more than I need. Paintshop Photo Pro does have a lot of the same things as PhotoShop, but just seems "friendlier" PLUS Paintshop Pro also has Express Lab which is great for most of my photos.
