Summary: Lightroom is without doubt best software to work with digital photos. If you have used Camera Raw Photoshop plugin it is very ease to switch to Lightroom which gives you better work-flow and more intuitive and quick access to files. Good integration with Photoshop and Photoshop pluins extend Lightroom capabilities. Colors produced in Lightroom can not be produced in any other software.
Pros: Most intuitive work flow, great presets and Julianne Costs tutorials Complete picture on Adobe TV. Good tutorials are one of the key of software usability and success.
Summary: I purchased this and I found it hard to figure out how to do all it can do. I had to purchase an added book to help me make use of all the wonderful things this software has available. I was going to discard some pics, but after viewing them in Lightroom, I was able to make them look fantastic, especially ones taken at zoo where the ones I took in bad lighting at the acquairium looked a lot better.
Summary: Any change to photographs previously uploaded to flickr results in re-uploading them (replacing the originally uploaded ones). Also, LR tries to download comments from flickr after every upload.
Pros: Performance, streamlined workflow, features
Cons: Limited support for movie clips, lack of control for flickr uploading
