It is the standard for a reason

Matt, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: I don't do enough image manipulation to justify the full PS license. For me, this is everything I need. Excellent spot removal, dodge, burn, and general editing. I upgraded from PSE 9, and was rather pleased with the new layout. It looks simpler, but it is still just as (really, more) powerful, and the new layout has everything I care about easily at hand.If you've only used older photo editors like Corel Photopaint 11 (my previous editor), you're in for a huge surprise...
  • Pros: Easy To Install, Easy To Navigate, Fast, Great Value

Photoshop Elements 13

  • Excerpt: Great editing tool that is easy to use. Rated 4 stars instead of 5 because there is a learning curve involved. Love the online tutorials ! New features allow faster adjustments to levels. Not using the automatic cropping as I prefer customization to my specific photos. Overall a great editing program at a reasonable cost.

  • Excerpt: When working on files I like to use adjustment layers, layer mask and content-aware move tool. The content-aware in this edition of Elements is great. As always working with B&H on this order has been great.

Great alternative to Photoshop CC

Lynn, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: I use this program for editing, in combination with Lightroom. It's very easy to use for anyone with experienced with Photoshop, and although there's a steep learning curve for new users, it's worth learning. Photoshop has more tools for graphic designers, perhaps, but Elements is perfect for my photography workflow.

  • Excerpt: Upgraded from Elements 8. Great upgrade. I have not looked at Elements 9-12 so you would need to make your own decision to get Elements13. Workes well for my needs.

  • Excerpt: Has added many nice features over other versions. including online tutiorials and demos for free. Better Camera raw functions. One thing I miss, in the liquify filter there is no way to constrain areas that you don't want affected any more.No masking abilities.

Nothing That New

TonyK, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: Really not that much new. If you can get it on sale, as I did, certainly worth keeping up with the series. I'm not a real PS fan especially now that it is cloud based. Elements gets me nearly there and can be used when traveling and have a slow or no internet connection.
