Excerpt: I bought this product because Aperture (Apple's competing product) was so slow to offer support for the Nikon D4S. When Lightroom arrived, I had high hopes. Lightroom installation went well. But as soon as I tried to use it, I began experiencing problems. If I didn't have anything to compare Lightroom to, I might like it better. However, having used Aperture for the last decade, I found it very difficult to transition to Lightroom.

Excerpt: I've tried several photo editing software and this one is no different from the others. I uninstalled it soon after I installed it. For me they are very difficult. I started out with Jasc Paint Shop Photo Album 5 and it did everything I wanted it to and was very easy. By upgrading my computer it eventually would not recognize the old software, so I went looking to upgrade my software and am still looking for one that I understand.
Excerpt: This software is not user friendly. The background of the screen is a dark gray and cannot be changed. I do not recommend this software. I was a Photoshop user before, expected something similar and got much worse. Don't waste the money on this one.
Summary: Don't download unless you are absolutely sure your system requirements support this software. If your computer doesn't support it, you are out of luck and NewEgg will do NOTHING to help. They say it's nonrefundable, but there's no credit, no additional downloads, no discount on additional software to bring your system up to speed, and no other remedy. You're out $80 or more. Don't bother.
Excerpt: I purchased LR5 2 weeks ago, not only is there a horrible color cast. But I have spent 3 hours on the phone with Adobe customer service with 2 different people and they can't find the problem. The elevated the "case" and I'm getting people who want to start all over again with trouble shooting I've already done 3 or 4 times. I am beyond frustrated!! Adobe customer service is horrible.
