Good alternate program

Excerpt: This is a good all around program. I bought it to supliment my Lightroom ,5 for the creative features like making cards, etc - that's not in Lightroom. Also because I recommend this program to people getting into editing - I want to be able to help them and know the program and be able to teach them as well.
Excerpt: I've used Photoshop Elements for a few years and this is a decent upgrade to version 8. The smart adjustments and fixes are good for beginners. It can be a bit slow to load, so you do need a fairly fast computer to run it.
Excerpt: For less than $[$], you get most of the great features available in the full version of Photoshop. It will take you a little longer to find out where features are if you're used to Creative Suite, but it's all there. This is a major step up from using stock and/or free editing software. Once you get comfortable (it doesn't take long), you'll be turning out professional quality content.
Pros: Easy To Install, Easy To Navigate, Fairly Easy To Learn, Great Value
Excerpt: I upgraded from Elements 8 to Elements 12 when I purchased my new camera. I might not have thought of upgrading except that B&H had a discount offer on Elements 12 and am glad that I did. The interface is clearer and more user friendly. Since I have only had the software for less than a month and actually did not install until last weekend since I waited to receive my camera body that was backordered, I have not been able to use it extensively.
Pros: Easy To Install, Easy To Navigate, Great Value
Excerpt: So far so good. In the first few weeks I've had it, I have really liked Photoshop. It has a few different layout things and is missing a few features from what I've used previously with CS4, but for the price it's a good deal.
Excerpt: I am still learning all its capabilities. It does everything that I have needed or wanted it to do. I did not do enough research on the Adobe products before purchasing and wish I would have known it does not work with videos. I would have purchased the combo, Elements and Premier package.
Excerpt: As an amateur photographer I use Photoshop Elements 12 to touch up my photos, and to change the size of the photos to post on the web. It has an easy to learn interface and a amateur mode which walks you through each operation.
Pros: Easy To Install, Easy To Navigate, Fast, Great Value, Powerful
