good product

  • Excerpt: i was excited to upgrade from 10 to 12. the program works well. i was a bit disappointed in some of the functionality--it's easier in 10 to do the "quick" editing. in 12 it takes so many more steps. i was also disappointed that some 10 features were missing, such as the "blue sky". but 12 has some new features that i was looking forward to. i've decided to keep both versions on my computer. i use 10 for the quick editing, and 12 for the other stuff.
  • Pros: Easy To Install, Easy To Navigate, Fast, Great Value, Powerful
  • Cons: Difficult To Navigate, Missing Features

User Review

an anonymous customer, Walmart
18 October 2014
  • Summary: I finally received the download with my key via email but it would not finish downloading on my new HP computer, Windows 8.1. At 33% into the download the Photoshop 12 software would pause and not start up again. Also, I could never get any tech support. I'm out $106 over this and learned a big lesson. I could never recommend Walmart for online orders, especially when the product is emailed from a third party.

Canon 70D Raw File Problem

Engineergirl, B&H Photo
24 September 2014
  • Excerpt: I have a canon 70D and this program had a problem reading the raw files. I went online and saw a post where they said I would need a plug in. I also saw one where they said to go to editor-help-updates. I haven't tried it yet. I wish I had known the program wasn't compatible with my cameras raw files before I bought it though.

  • Excerpt: I have used Elements before but have switched from a PC to Apple and am still having to feel my way around Elements 12. I think they could give better instructions with the program but it seems once you use it a few times you start to get the hang of it. i use to be a Crime Scene Photographer but have since retired and am using the program for fun pictures, car shows etc.
  • Pros: Easy To Install, Easy To Navigate

  • Excerpt: I have been using Elements 11 almost every day, for work and for personal use. I like it very much. I've only had 12 for about a week, but so far it has not let me down. Another great product from Adobe!

  • Excerpt: I needed video editing. I believe the iMovie is a better program. Much easier to use. Some things were missing, that iMovie has. This does have better sound capability mixing. The timeline is more detailed also. I may bring from my movie over, but probably not. I think their videos I need some improvement. The Photoshop is awesome. Just not change much from 11.

  • Excerpt: Basically I bouight PSE 12 just to keep the latest sofftware on my computer. It's important for supporting the newest cameras, taking advantage of the latest upgrades in the software itself, and making sure you have a version that is still supported by Adobe. I also use Photoshop 6, but this is great for small corrections on the go.
