Elements 11 is Alright
24 September 2013
Summary: I read the reviews for Elements 11. It was rated highly and that's why I bought this. After 2 hours of playing with the program you realize this has limitations. It's a good tease of Photoshop - but I should have paid for the full version up front.
Summary: I like the Photoshop Elements. I first began using on Version 8 and just recently upgraded to Version 11. Some of the features do not run the same and I still have not figured out some of the new ways to do things. Overall I think that it is a good program.
Summary: Photoshop and Premiere Elements are good programs but why do I have the feeling that I am being taken to the cleaner by Adobe? Maybe because they keep selling me a new version every year (I have had all of them since version 1) while making very minor changes.
Summary: I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements version 11 a few months ago and I am having a hard time sorting my pictures. The instructions are not clear and the look up in the help file are not distinct. Having had a Photoshop program before this is way more complicated and frustrating.
Summary: The problem with this program, is that after you install it, there is some part of elements running which one would not know, I stumbled across this problem, and then you have to find how to shut it off. It slows your computer down. Other than that so far it is better than all the photo apps I bought. I had studio 10 on my PC and and it was a 10+.... this would be a 2 to 3 in comparison....
