Pros: Easy to use with just a little practice. I use this product at work and have opted to purchase for home use. I have used Photoshop for years as a graphic designer. This is so much simpler - I can teach others how to use it pretty easily as compared to CS and other Photoshop programs. Thanks!
Cons: Not liking having to reset my print options every time.
Summary: Use on both a Windows 7 desktop and a MacBook Pro. Adobe lets you put it on both platforms. Again, the Topaz Labs plugins will add POP to your photos. The bundle costs more than PS Elements, but wow, they do work great. As far as Premiere Elements goes, I only use it once on Windows.
Pros: It's the Photoshop for everyone else. Tons of YouTube tutorials to make you better with it. Plugin support from Topaz Laps (get the bundle! sure it will cost more than the product, but great results)
Cons: I got the package as a deal after or around xmas. If it was priced that way all the time, it would be worth it. Interface is not bad, but could be better. Crashes on the Mac sometimes after an update check.
Summary: I am now using Elements 10, having had Elements 6 for a couple of years before that. This review is primarily aimed at Elements 10, but if you have an older copy on your computer, it will equally apply to that.
Pros: Great price., Easy to use., Excellent post editing options., Help in learning.
Cons: Can be slow on memory short computers (4GB RAM minimum recommended)., The Organizer is not very user friendly in my opinion.
Pros: Great photo editing software. Does what the older Photoshops did in a better/faster method. Didn't take long for me to adjust to the different screen arrangement and buttons. Good price and it does just what I need to do. I don't need the big Adobe CS5 package.
Cons: Had to purchase this because Adobe won't allow the older Photoshops to work with over 500gig hard drives.
