User Review

harpo7879, Walmart
14 January 2014
  • Summary: I ordered this mostly because I figured the "Student/Teacher" designation just meant a more limited version of the regular Adobe Acrobat (and it's cheaper, obviously), but after I purchased it and went to install it I was told I needed to submit all kinds of proof that I was either a current teacher or student in order to get my activation code. Since there's absolutely nothing about this in the description of the product, I was obviously a bit peeved.

  • Summary: Before I opened the package I read the tiny print on the edge of the carton. It required documentation from your education office.

Verification Process is a Failure

Matthew F., Newegg
2 August 2013
  • Summary: Nothing against Newegg or Adobe.
  • Pros: Digital delivery and a much lower price for students and teachers.
  • Cons: The way the process works is you go to a website (listed in the details section) and submit a bunch of information to verify you are indeed a current student/teacher somewhere.

Just buy it from Adobe

Donald C., Newegg
11 April 2013
  • Pros: none
  • Cons: To register with Adobe you need a product code, which of course Newegg forgets to provide… creating unnecessary phone calls emails and waiting to get. The Newegg price isn’t one bit better than Adobe’s price but you get worse information and support for your patronage.
