Pros: the only thing good about this product is able to back up and recover data.
Cons: Unable to clone any anything from HHD to SSD or vice versa. Anything from this Acronis you should be able to find in win 7. My biggest mistake is not listened to other reviewers not to buy this product. What a waste of money.
Summary: Many people get a backup software and make backups, but go for years without ever having to actually restore from a crash. Test this on your system ASAP if you have it....but make sure you have another standby backup image from a reputable company first.
Pros: None. I wish I could give zero starts, but the site demands at least one to indicate I responded.
Cons: Acronis True Image simply does not work. Sure, it will APPEAR to be making backups. But the real test comes when trying to RESTORE a backup. Safety tip: Don't try to test it unless you already have a backup saved from a reputable company. When your restore from Acronis doesn't work, you will then also discover that there is no support. Get a support ticket and then stare at your blank computer screen until you get tired of trying.
Pros: This software I have used for years. Its never let me down. I am always able to restore or reinstall my back ups. All backup programns require a little commons sence on how to use them. People that gave a negative have not given the time to unstand the program. Which is not hard. I have alot of friends that use this program and we all love it. Its saved our but numerous times. Great software don't let the idots tell you other wise.
Summary: I had my primary SSD die on me and had no back up so I started using Acronis because it was free with me new SSD. I even paid for the upgrade to have the full features. When my replacement SSD also took a dump I went to restore from Acronis only to find out that all my backups where corrupted. When it came time to use the program, it failed me.
