Summary: I was suprised when I saw all the gore in the game. This is an M rated game with gore, strong language, and very graphic, brutal violence, but the movie is only PG-13. First of all,WOW!!!!!!!!! This is one of the best, problaly the best, movie-tied game ever! I have waited forever for a game that uses the common sense, quote:"here's a guy with brutal claws, lets put them to good use.
Summary: They have the power of the UnrealEngine and all they can do is make a Tomb Raider-like game with nothing that really jumps out at you. So apart from one of the coolest comic book characters ever getting no respect, they assemble this hodgepodge of junk into a big pot and call it a game. Story is... well, you can't put the blame of the game's story line on the developers. It's really Hollywood's fault. But the level puzzles? Were those really necessary?
Summary: This game took me by surprise actually. I thought the control scheme for the game would suck a lot, especially for PC, but it's not that bad. Once you customize it yourself, it's very easy to use. This game does not have the best graphics in the world, they could have made it look better and stuff. This game is pretty challenging for PC, even on Easy. But it's easy to find out patterns and kill them. Like I said, graphics are mediocre.
Conclusion: The there is only a few games tht i think wow i really enjoyed that and this is one of them but this is outstanding graphics are brilliant and the cinematics are unreal (i was actually in the shop and my gf goes to me look there the new wolverine MOVIE) but if you like xmen youl like this the best way i can describe it is a better prototype ( i dont like sandbox unless its an mmorp or a bethesda) but dont think just buy its reallllllyy good
Conclusion: On playing the first level of the game i was impressed by the cut scenes, hack n slash gore, easy and fluid control (with xbox controller) wolverines visual regeneration and for a game of the movie tie-in sort, overall polished look (even the title screen is cool).
Conclusion: This game carries an 18 certification for very good reason. The violence is very bloody and dismemberment a constant. I had bought this for my young son (who loves Wolverine) and when I saw the 18 I thought I'd vet it first. I'm glad I did for two reasons; the first and quite obvious is that it isn't suitable for anyone under the age of 18... naturally. The second reason is that the game rocks and I'll be playing it through myself.
