Summary: I used to be one of the people who prefers GemSweeper to the World Mosaics games. However, I recently replayed GemSweeper and found myself not enjoying it as much as I remember enjoying it. The thing is, GemSweeper relies too much on the colored squares to make pictures.
Summary: I was a gemsweeper fanatic until I downloaded World Mosaics. I don't care for the beginning with all the stupid "help". When the grid becomes 15 x 15 is when the fun begins. But it is now getting boring. So, please, push for another version to come out soon.
Summary: Unlike some, I prefer World Mosaics to Gemsweeper. World Mosaics highlights the numbers for the row and column you hover your mouse over, which is useful for the 20x20 puzzles. It also doesn't force a time restriction on you that kicks you off the puzzle if you take too long.
Summary: When compared to Gemsweeper, it's a non-game. There is no personality to it, it comes across quite boring. If you could possibly be interested in this type of game after trying this one, play Gemsweeper--it's fabulous! World Mosaics, not so much!
Summary: I have never been much of a fan of these types of games, but this one has caught me hook, line and sinker!! I love it! I am a HO game lover but this one is fun and you have to find a good strategy for your next move. That is kinda' cool.
Summary: I really like this game since its a PC version of the game "Picross" that is out for the Nintendo DS. The only thing different about this version next to the version for the DS is that this one does not give you hints right at the begining.
