Summary: A far cry from the great game put out in 2001 that was "Return To Castle Wolfenstein" but terrible only if you are comparing it to the former. Assuming that you take it as a game based on it's own merits, it it worth a look. You still get to kill lots of Nazis and weird creatures, so that's a plus. The biggest change from the prior versions is a magical amulet you use to give yourself different super powers.
Summary: Still the best third person shooter game because there is more to it than just shoot-em-up. I've played "The Castle" for years, and still enjoy it but this game has greater weaponry and requires more thought relative to elimination of the bad guy - great graphics!
Summary: I was looking forward to playing this game, and it is fun but I was a bit disappointed in the graphics; the graphics are a bit too sharp, bright and artificed, and I couldnt find a method of altering it in the settings (other than resolution no antialiasing or other changes). I also miss having quick-save functionality (gone once every game ended up being designed for consoles and ported to PC). Other than that it is a very entertaining game.
Summary: The game itself is action-packed and more realistic than other games. I had a little problem following the gold star that indicates where to g0. it seemed as if it was leading in the wrong direction at times. Overall, the game was a real good action game.
Summary: This game came to me in a timely manner and so far I am pleased with this purchase. The game was very easy to load to my computer. Only had to make a few adjustments on the game settings to get rid of some "game lag".
Summary: I love and still play Return to Castle Wolfenstein. This game plays a lot like it's predecessor. Your weapon selection is not as extensive in the new game but you can buy upgrades for the weapons you get. My only complaint, and the reason I deduct one star, is the default video settings. I tried to start the game and my monitor started flashing "Out of Range", which is an indication that the game was set to a refresh rate higher than my monitor is capable of.
Summary: i paid 10 for this and you can resell it, i would say dont pay anymore for it new, its still a relativly new game so if you get it for less than 10 you got a dealim including shipping cost in the 10 dollars, nice graphics decent amount of gameplay a fun FPS
Summary: Of course Return to Castle Wolfenstein was better, but the black market feature was great. Cruising through the different parts of the town and no linear levels was different and took awhile to get used to. The easy difficulty settings are too easy! <$20 is the appropriate price for this game and I still enjoy firing it up once in awhile. Less than what I had hoped for and feel bad for those who bought at $50.
Summary: I held off buying this due to some bad reviews but once I saw it dropped below $20 I jumped. For what I paid this game is amazing. Incredibly fun and addictive old style Raven/iD type fps with depth that is a refreshing change from the recent slew of bland modern tactical shooters. That depth being upgradable weapons, special powers through an obtained crystal that makes for varied gameplay and side missions and secret finding.
