Summary: This PC version is very much in line with the versions on other platforms. It uses the Season Eight rules along with the new money tree that was introduced during the second week. Game plays pretty much similar to screen - no ask the expert lifeline.
Summary: I bought this game for my Mom on her Birthday this year. I originally bought the Platinum Edition , which contained Millionaire 1st and 2nd editions , but neither of them would play on her new computer with the Vista operating system.
Summary: I bought this game for my Dad, a longtime fan of the TV show. A new PC user, he had no problem getting the hang of the controls in this user friendly game. I am giving this game a great rating because of how much my Dad is enjoying it.
Summary: I just bought the 3rd edition of Who Wants to be a Millionaire 3/01/02. I was very disappointed because there was no team play and no real "play against a friend" game other than the 'fastest finger' part of the game. I thought I would be able to play the question part of the game against friends.
Summary: In my first round, I did not get one question right. I am so used to the television version where the first questions are SOOO easy. When you don't get any questions right. . .you get a check (on your screen) for ZERO dollars. That was funny.
Summary: The 3rd edition of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" is slightly better than the 1st edition. There are more questions, Regis's comments are not as bombastic, and there are some minor graphics improvements.
