Watchmen features two distinctive Watchmen characters with unique abilities: Rordchach, a feral, street-wise fighter who can disarm enemies to use their own weapons against them, and Nite Owl, a refined fighter who uses martial arts expertise and high-tech wizardry. The game enables players to fight through six chapters of action and fight up to 20 enemies at the same time. It also features a co-op mode in multiplayer competition or solo game play.

Though you can have some split-screen fun with a friend, it's baffling that there is no online cooperative mode. That would have made the $20 price tag a little easier to swallow, but as it stands the price feels a bit greedy. Those inclined to tire of repetitive gameplay will find the price of entry too high, but there is some value here. The real breaking point for this innocuous title is the price tag. Yes, Watchmen is one of the best looking downloadable games we’ve seen (even if the lighting takes the murky color palette to nearly opaque darkness), and yes, the voice acting and production values are impressively high-end. Still, paying $20.00 for such a shallow experience just doesn’t seem right. We’d feel better recommending this title at $10 or $15, but $20 is simply too much for such... Read more
