Two player action based on the TV Show

Anthony Hunt, Amazon
21 February 2014
  • Summary: Based on the Clone Wars TV show, you play through a story over several chapters with various characters from the show. Once you finish a level, you have the opportunity to go back and play as different characters. The characters you choose depend on the type of level you play (Jedi characters on Jedi levels, gun users on gun user levels). Controls are ok but not great.

PC Version is only fun with a controller

E. Helms, Amazon
26 November 2012
  • Summary: Either buy this for your console system or get two game controllers for your PC. Using the PC keyboard to play this game removes any "fun" from it. Also, this game only does "local" (2 playes on the same computer) co-op. It does not do multi-player or co-op over the network.

Very good

DarthVader87 ""Use the Force"", Amazon
25 October 2012
  • Summary: A very good game, but it requires a new TV if you really want to enjoy it cause the characters are very far away from the camera so they are kind of small.

The Wars games was dissapointing

Ruperto Romo, Amazon
29 March 2012
  • Summary: I always look foward to any Star wars games. That is also how I decide which system to buy is by which one has Star wars game. But lately I have been disappointed by star wars game I have been wanting to play a space ship game like the gamecube of old. This game was fun but really easy to play. The camera angle at times made the game difficult because it was hard to see what was coming next.

Clone Wars Republic Heroes-good for kids

Lorenzo DaVinci, Amazon
26 April 2010
  • Summary: Being a parent whose kids love Star Wars, this game seems to be a good choice. However, you have to sign up for a Windows Live account in order to save your progress in the game. I spent 2 days trying to do this, only to find out that because I entered my son's name and birth date in the registration screen, I had to go to the Windows Live homepage and give parental permission for him to do the game.

Can't Get It To Work using Windows 7

Michael Clements "magickcache", Amazon
8 December 2009
  • Summary: I installed the game on my Windows 7 64 bit machine, but upon trying to start it, the .exe crashes back to the desktop. Nothing online about it. No info on LucasArts' website. I'm really at a loss. I know it says Vista/XP, but surely a newly released game would work on the newest OS, right? Maybe not. Sucks, since it looks like a fairly fun game.

Could, Should have been better.

Blue, Amazon
16 October 2009
  • Summary: This game is fun. It's not awful but it's not great either. I think kids would enjoy this game. I enjoyed that it has many of the characters from the show with strong performances from all the voice actors. I also liked that it captures the same humor that makes the tv show good family fun. My biggest disappointment was with the graphics which make a PS3 game look like something made for the wii. Far too often the camera view is too far from the action.

clone wars

C. A. Gibbs, Amazon
21 September 2009
  • Summary: The game was delivered in tact and functioned as expected. My son beat the whole game in a day and a half. Need a game that is a little more challenging!

Episode One: The Keyboard Menace

Phil8mee, Play.com
21 September 2009
  • Conclusion: Ok, so the keyboard/mouse controls are more than a little annoying, but once you hook up a 360 controller it becomes far more enjoyable, especially if you have two! This is essentially a platform/beat 'em up with shooting sections. The gameplay is simplistic and console focused but constantly varied and entertaining. One minute you are Anakin swinging a light sabre and the next you are Rex on the back of an AT-RT walker.
