Summary: The CE is well worth the price! Take it from someone who has purchased 3 of them since release. The unique head, trinket and a couple titles are well worth the money spent. WARhammer Online started out as every rvr/pvp'ers dream MMO until time constraints and bad descisions destroyed what could easily be the greatest RvR game since DAoC. That said - the lure of WAR is in it's lore and more so, it can be very casual - jump into the lakes, find a warband and off you go!
Summary: The designers of this game did everything that they could to make it fun. Unfortunately, you cannot dictate fun to people who play online. It is a good game with nice features and exciting realm versus realm fighting. But the rules are rather restrictive, the end game fighting is repetitive. Most nights the 'war' is an endless excersise in keep-swapping with zergs basically chasing each other's tails.
Summary: As a WoW gamer since it was released, I was growing a little sick of the "samo samo" of WoW, so I thought I would give Warhammer a try. It's good. Not great. A lot of the concepts are repeated in Warhammer that are in WoW; kinda like reinventing the wheel. As stated in multiple reviews, includes a lot more PVP action/campaigns. Not a bad game, but not great. Also, lots of kinks still need to be worked out (technical issues). I am going back to WoW for my gaming fun.
Summary: This game is alright... it has its ups and downs. First off I had to go and buy a whole new video card just to run it. There is a specific list of video cards on the back of the packaging... make sure you check it, and your video card is listed on there, otherwise, there's a very good chance it's not going to run on your system. After I upgraded my video card, it ran excellent.
Summary: Great packaging, decent extra's for a collectors edition, although the ingame items could have been better thought out. The game itself is a same old tired game. It is WoW, but with PvP being well thought out, instead of PvE like WoW. The game just doesn't feel inspired. There is nothing new, RvR is little more than horde/alliance in wow, mixed with some DAoC seasoning. I am not impressed.
