Summary: My title has nothing to do with the storyline, but it has everything to do with the gameplay. The original Dawn of War was a successful RTS series. They kept the same formula and added new armies, new units, and just enough subtle changes to not take away from the game. Up until "Retribution," this series was doing the same, but with a focus on squads and tactics instead of building up power & requisition.
Conclusion: I got this game thinking I could continue straight on from the last, not only is that completely wrong but I'm playing as characters I killed in the last one. It doesn't support windows live so I can't import my save data, none of the playable characters are in this one and it contradicts itself.
Conclusion: I bought this hoping it was going to be an extension of DoW II and DoW II Chaos Rising... I was sadly disappointed. Few hours play time, never went back to it. Still playing the previous titles on a regular basis.
