Terrible way to buy a great game

Faux Reel, Amazon
29 August 2009
  • Summary: Brief and to the point: Warhammer Dawn Of War Platinum contains both games included here, as well as Dark Crusade and is much cheaper ($27.99 as of this writing) the Dark Crusade expansion adds 2 more playable races and a new campaign. Why pay more for less?

Dawn of War Soulstorm

James "JPB", Amazon
29 September 2008
  • Summary: The game is not very good because the campaign is lacking consistancy. During battles for each region of each planet you spend a ton of resourses on ifrastructure. After the battle ALL of your hard won buildings are gone! each time you defend that region you start from scratch. The buildings are just plain gone. It made the campaign inconsistant and unbelievable.

Could've Been Great

Joshua Zimmerman, Amazon
3 September 2006
  • Summary: My rig isn't on steroids, so I expected the same if not identical gaming experience I had with Dawn of War Series. I have the recommended requirements well above the recommended requirements, and yet, the game runs choppy, sloppy and the load times are unacceptable compared to Relic's last stand alone expansion, Dawn of War: Dark Crusade. The units are more aggressive in the single player campaigns making troop build up difficult and sometimes impossible.

Too tough to handle

Techwarrior, Amazon
16 February 2006
  • Summary: After having mastered the original edition of Warhammer i saw this as a well needed addition to my gaming library. Before you buy this be prepared or forewarned that this game even on it's easiest setting is almost impossible to beat. The events move at you so quickly that the learning curve is steep and the time limits set for task acomplishment are very hard to meet.

Jeu moyen, une suite inutile

longvan, Amazon
19 August 2014
