Summary: I think this is a terrific game but as with most of Paradox Interactive's games, they are not meant for little kids to have fun inside. Victoria II is extremely in-depth and puts other games such as Civilization to shame.
Summary: This is the first expansion to the game Victoria II. I recommend the expansion to anyone who liked the base game Victoria II. The expansion adds a new starting date in 1861. This date corresponds with the civil war. However you can play anywhere in the world at this time.
Summary: The latest expansion to Paradox's Victoria series brings more to the table than before. With a newly introduced Crisis system to push forward with diplomatic missions without war. A nice feature I was waiting for was a larger African and colonial factor.
Summary: A House divided adds alot of features. -New Casus Beli System which is a major improvement over the easy to abuse system of before. -New Mapmodes (VERY USEFUL) -More politics (National focuses to effect politics) -Balanced world powers -Industry doesn't depend on the first few moments of opening a...
Summary: This expansion adds a lot of content to the game. The original game is good, I have spent countless hours playing it. Also, orctowngrot has no idea what he is talking about. If the games didnt sell well, and people didnt like them, the company would have gone out of business a long time ago.
Summary: Westernizing is a whole lot easier now, making it not just fun but viable as well to play an uncivilized nation like Japan, although if you're looking to dominate the world as President Madagascar you'll still be disappointed.
Summary: This is a great game, I bought it in march and have played it a ton. Most of the problems at the release were fixed. The new 1.4 patch makes the game great. Very fun in all regards, especially for people interested in history.
Summary: Paradox games are generally only playable after their first expansion by which most of the worst bugs and imbalances are ironed out (EU 3 is an exception that took more than one expansions to be the great game it currently is).
