Summary: This is a time period I find fascinating so I really want to like this game, but even after cranking the difficulty setting down to very easy and still getting my butt kicked, I'm clearly doing something wrong and the interface and game mechanics aren't giving me many clues about what I should...
Summary: I've owned this game for a-couple days and to tell you all the honest truth i don't like this game one bit. Its a total make over from part 1. I loved part 1 of Victoria is was amazing. THis game obviously covers political aspects which i don't like. You have almost no controls from part 1.
Summary: A step back from its predecessor in terms of depth and immersion. Many mechanics have been added that replicate existing mechanics, such as spheres of influence and social movements, and many have been rendered largely pointless, like consciousness.
Summary: The game is addictive for a history junkie. The art of taking a pre-industrial nation and developing its resources and population to become a world power is challenging. The political and diplomatic portion of the game are the most difficult to predict.
