Summary: This game is a great stress reliever, especially when playing against your friends who are not as good as you are. There's nothing like blowing someone to pieces with a 3 rockets in a virtual world (thankfully, no real world consequences). This game has it all. It's fun and fast paced. The amount of different weapons is awesome and they all have two different modes of fire.
Summary: Though it makes me sad to say it, this game was much better than the later released Unreal Tournament 3, even without the amazing engine and eye candy. This game is an incredibly fast paced frag fest, and can be daunting for new gamers to jump into, especially the online play. My favorite weapons in the game are the classic sniper rifle (quick straight shot weapon) and the shock rifle (ahh, the power of shock combos).
Summary: I have no idea how this game is. I've heard it was good, but won't know now because I mistakenly purchased it thinking it included the installer for linux. It doesn't, so be forewarned. I believe the regular version (not the Editor's choice) includes the installer.
Summary: Great game! Even better when you have a good graphics card! I bought this game because of the level editor software it came with, Unreal Editor. I like to create maps for games when I have the time. It is pretty involved and knowledge of 3D software is essential. However this edition of the game comes with hours of video tutorials!
Summary: I really enjoyed playing Unreal Tournament 2004 for the Pc because it was a great game and didn't stray too far from the original Unreal. Of course the graphics and physics got alot better but the core and essential part of this great game stayed with it and that's why i believe it is a fun game.
Summary: This gets to be a very intense game when you go online with it. Obviously I wouldn't even reccomend this game to anyone under 14 because the amazing graphics, violence, and some language make this game look very real. There is plenty of options to choose from in this game and is sure to keep you entertained for a while.
Summary: This game is probably the most fun first-person shooter I've ever played. The combat is extremely lively and the variety in weapons ensures that I never have the same gameplay experience twice. The bots in this game are extraordinary, nearly matching the skill of human players, and the number of gameplay options is astounding. The only real flaws with this game are its load times (this game needs a POWERFUL machine to play) and, for the kids, its violence and language.
Summary: As someone who was a major addict of the original UT, and somewhat put off by the 2003 edition, I have to say that I have found that chemistry again with UT 2004. For whatever reason, "it" is back, and this game recaptures a lot of the great fun of the original. While I personally thrilled to see the return of Assault, my favorite mode of gameplay, I must agree with many of the reviewers that Onslaught is the real star here.
Summary: If you are looking for a combination of both compatibility and great play for multiplayer LAN games. This is the game for you. Lots of people have recently been turning to halo as the sort of standard for multiplayer gaming, but unreal tournament 2004 with a graphics engine that is in many ways superior has it beat out to be sure.
