    With Starcraft 2 out of reach, RTS gamers will have to find alternatives for their fix. Enter Universe at War: Three unique sides, created by Petroglyph Studios (some ex-Westwood employees … Read more

    Universe at War: Earth Assault will most likely make you remember the days when you were playing Starcraft. Still, it's better than Starcraft. The races are so varied and flexible that the game is highly replayable and each time you could try another tactic. Which is really good for a RTS game. Unfortunately, the flaws the campaign comes with, as well as the story that brings nothing new for the genre, might not be something the hardcore RTS fans will appreciate. Read more

    Universe at War: Earth Assault is, to be brief, a very good real-time strategy game you should try out, if nothing else. Once again, the gents and ladies at Petroglyph haven't disappointed. However, there's still nothing groundbreaking to be had here and due to the aforementioned slip ups, the game failed to achieve its full potential. But it comes very close. Read more

    • Solid single-player campaign, customizable units and fun resource gathering makes it more enjoyable than other strategies, visuals, sound effects, voiceovers;
    • AI problems and pathfinding problems (the patch resolves neither), best aspects of the multiplayer restricted to Live Gold members (major bummer).

    You can compare with a rough diamond. While it has several beautiful features like three races, innovating gameplay and cross-over multiplayer, it sadly also has some negative points. The Windows Live service is a bit of trial and error and the interface is too empty for an RTS game on PC. But if you can ignore these negative points, you can expect a more than decent RTS experience. Read more

    In this reviewer’s humble opinion Order of Ecclesia is the best Castlevania title yet. As much as I still love Symphony of the Night , it is not as beautiful, as well-designed, nor as -fun- as Ecclesia is. The design caters to fans of the old-school, action-based titles, while still offering up what new series fans want. To put it very simply - If you have a DS, this game belongs in your collection. Game seems entertaining. A new concept as all the races are very different...okay maybe not an entirely new concept (SEE: Starcraft II). I got the game recently, Feb 15 2011 (so likely no new patches coming in) after reading about Petroglyph studios and that it was a stepchild of Westwood studios. With high hopes I installed the game and here is what I found: 1. Game has excellent graphics. Better than SC2. 2. Has very different races so expect to play for a while. 3. Read more

    The game has some good ideas but the devs have closely tied your hands behind your back and most of the time you are trying to follow your troops vs leading them in battle. Take the game back to the store. Do not be decieved. Read more

    • Some of the units are neat, Following the story line is kinda neat the way it slides from side to side
    • Random game crashes. Zoom level is just plain terrible. Unit cap is awful low. Ability to control units is non existant. Battles follow a strict laid out plan, do not ...
