Excerpt: “Tryst” is not high on my list of Things I Would Name a Real Time Strategy Game. Things I Would Name An Adventure Game perhaps, or Things I Would Name A 2D Platformer. But an RTS? I’m not sold. Tryst is fairly standard sci-fi fare; your human colony is under attack by aliens, your dad is dead and so now you’re the President (er?), and must climb into your fanciest space marine suit and lead the armies of humankind to victory. Because that’s… what Presidents do best?
Excerpt: Tryst is an RTS game from Blue Giant Interactive, an ambitious team who have decided to take on two of the most popular competitive games of today, League of Legends and Starcraft 2. Excerpt: The Real Time Strategy market has never been a big one, mainly consisting of Blizzard’s output and Command & Conquer. India-based Blue Giant Interactive are hoping to change all that with Tryst, their sci-fi RTS set in the midst of an alien invasion after decades of civil unrest on the planet of Ishtonia IV.
