Summary: Have been a fan of 'Tropico' for years and love this version. Lots of new buildings and the graphics are very good. But it absolutely drives me nuts that I every time I start this game, I have to enter the 25 character product key, or code, to start playing. And that's EVERY time.
Summary: If you're wondering what the jest of the game is think Sim City. Its basically the same thing except now people and other countries will try to overthrow you. You still have natural disasters but they only do a tiny percentage of the damage they do in Sim City. This is a classic Tropico game.
Summary: Rad!! This game is so much fun. Its everything you liked about Sim City taken 3 steps further to make an experience that is so fun you will forget what time it is! Take over the town and run it into prosperity but don't over extend yourself or you won't be able to get your economy back in order.
Just Discovered a Very Common Issue: Game Does Not Load!

Summary: This game will not load. I get a critical error saying that I do not own a DirectX 9.0 supported video card, which I do. Not much else to say, there are a few "fixes" posted online by various gamers, but nothing from Kalypso themselves.
Summary: I played the original and it was entertaining. This version is bad. It is hard to build stuff. Not enough room on the islands, they have a lot of unbuildable terrain, and I can't say I like some of the things they say or how they say them. It comes across as racist.
Summary: It's a bit time consuming, and I wasn't able to finish the second tutorial. It's entertaining, you can play as a famous Latin leader like Castro, Che Guevara, Pinochet, or create your own character. My only struggle is finding my dictator within the game.
Summary: A truly great game! Since it's release, Kalyso, the house that built this, has released Tropico 4 then Tropico 5. T3 is the best and most complicated of them. Instead of T4 being an improvement of T3, the game changes. It lacks the realism of T3.
