Summary: This game was okay. For a TRON title, I might have expected a little more action and better controls. The fighting and running gets repetitive, and the storyline is mediocre. Hardcore TRON fans may be disappointed.
Summary: First off-- if you don't have an Xbox controller for your PC, add one to your cart along with the game. It is *impossible* to play without. Second, if you have a monitor with a decent resolution, you'll probably need to edit the gridengine.ini file to put in your actual resolution. I don't know why the game thinks that my i7 940 with 6GB of ram and Radeon HD 5870 can't handle over 1680x1050.
Summary: Looks like I'm not the only person with this issue. I've played plenty of games on my system without issue. Not sure if it's the DRM or what. Just can't get this game to play. Update: Finally after turning off all protection and letting it install some malware it works. The game is fun for about 10 mins. It looks good, cool to see the characters but gameplay is boring. I had a lot more fun with TFU2.
Summary: I picked this up on pre-order and told myself to not set my expectations too high ... as 95% of all games based on movies tend to be garbage. First, I'd like to point out that I picked up the Windows DvD version as I don't play on any of the consoles. I prefer the high resolution of my PC and planned on playing it in true "3D" -- since I just picked up the NVidia 3D Vision kit + monitor. Key points worth mentioning; #1 -- instant xbox 360 controller support.
Summary: This review was based of my playing the opening tutorials and first few short missions without vehicle missions but now I have played a large portion of the game so I am dropping my review from 4 to 3 stars. - First and foremost, gamers need to be aware that as far as the hand-to-hand combat and navigation (walking/running) go in TRON Evolution, you need to like games like Prince of Persia and Assassins Creed.
