Summary: Its meant for friends, maybe not the original crowd of Total Annihilation fans, but certainly friends that enjoy this style of gameplay. Coming from the TA crowd, I enjoyed this game, but I also realize it had its share of faults, same as the original game as well. But I can't fault it for a decent soundtrack, better story, more factions, more unit variation, and a altogether mystical medieval setting and theme that- coupled with the gorgeous 2-D maps- was a lot cleaner...
good solid gameplay, good graphics and sound for its day. rating 9

Summary: Total annihialation: Kingdoms is one of my favorite games. I love the ease of the gameplay and the graphics where not bad for the day and it comes with a pretty versatile and easy to use map editor. It was the last game to be made by the cavedog guys so there was no Kingdoms 2 made. There was an expansion pack made for ir called the iron plague but it is hard to find. I have it but have not played it yet.
Summary: One of the most challenging and captivating RTS games of the last two decades. It is truly an underrated masterpiece that will never be forgotten by it's fan base. The replayability of a game that is now 12 years old and was largely overlooked at the time of release must always be questioned. But when I play this game now it truly is as wonderful and gripping as when I first played it as a wide eyed boy.

Summary: I bought it as a gift. His mom says he loves playing it. Plays it for hours with his friends. Don`t know what else to say. If the people like it what else do you want to know. These reviews stink if you are forced to write them. Either it is liked and not much can be said if purchased as a gift. If he didn`t like it I would write lots of remarks but he is happy.
Summary: TA: Kingdoms is the sequel to a near-perfect game. This game, however, is not quite comparable to the first. Kingdoms utilizes a better story, more playable forces (Aramon, Veruna, Taros, and Zhon), slightly improved graphics, and decent cutscenes. Where the game fails to compare to the original is in the gameplay, online play, music, and the equality of forces.
Summary: This game can be played over again and again. It is great for a lan party with a half a dozen friends. You have to use your mind to accomplish victory... for some people that might be too much. This game is magnificent in its game play i encouraged people to search out this game to have some good fun with useing their mind.
Total Annihilation 2 - Kingdoms (PC): If this is the Kingdom, its time for a revolution!

Summary: I'm a big lover of strategy games as some of you will know, and its fair to say that my favourite game of all time was Total Annihilation, so you can imagine my excitement when the follow up game Total Annihilation 2 Kingdoms was released. So did this game live up to the sizable legacy of its predecessor? Well all I can start off by saying is oh dear, oh dear, and oh dear. I think that this just about sets the tone for this game.
Excerpt: "The original game in the Total Annihilation series was a superb sci-fi strategy game in which two rival factions battled it out over countless planets, eating up resources and destroying everything and eachother in ther bids for dominance, the game featuring superbly detailed 2d/3d graphics and allowing for rich and varied strategies to be undertaken. Hoping to build up their franchise, developers Cavedog Entertainment followed the game up with Total ...
