Summary: In retrospect, Torchlight was the tech demo for Torchlight II, and as such it's limited. If you have played T2, this game is probably not going to be all that interesting to you, as the mechanics are roughly the same, but you're limited to a single, vertical descent dungeon. That said, Torchlight on its own terms is a great game, and in many ways superior to Diablo 2, which was clearly the inspiration.
Summary: This is a clone knock off from the fate game series. Its fun and well done, Graphics work well, audio is good, support is there if you have a problem, It can be a bit laggy on even the best computers when crossing over in to a new territory. There are walkthroughs, cheats and tips available all over the internet. I liked it. Great game concepts. Good combat system. Item alterations and skills are well thought out. Its doesnt have alot of replayablity.
Summary: Torchlight is a simple point and click dungeon crawler. I like the fact that it has pets that can haul your stuff to town although when using a cat and it's fighting it does sound like cats are fighting outside your window. Why other games don't have companions with this ability I don't understand. It gets frustrating on other games when you constantly have to go back to town when things just get interesting.
