Summary: The reboot of the 1996 classic with updated graphics and improved mechanics. This was to be followed by a reboot of this reboot in 2013. It's getting kind of ridiculous. Eventually, we have to stop with all the reboots. They do it to excess in film. There were only three years between the Ang Lee Hulk film and its reboot. If you somehow managed to finish the first Tomb Raider despite the horrible controls like I did, you can skip this.
Remapping the key made this a more enjoyable game.

Summary: I have always enjoyed the tomb raider games and this is no exception. I remapped the keys to the number pad like the original TR used to work and used the mouse left handed for shooting, jumping and camera control. .
Summary: Great game. I use the xbox 360 controller on the pc. The challenge is to deal with the angles and controls to get through the acrobatics to the puzzles in this game. Love this type of game. The one shot kill is not easy to learn but is worth the effort. This particular program has places that lara walks while you try to run.....tried to calibrate the controller to no avail...just has parts that it occurs...
Summary: I remember the original game as being somewhat difficult in that I killed off Lara lots of times when executing a particular jump or move at a critical juncture. The same thing happened with this game. You can look for walkthroughs on the internet to show how to get through a particularly difficult part of the game and to get past the bosses, you should find a video tutorial on how to perform the ADRENALINE DODGE.
Summary: This game is a great blast from the past with incredible updates to the scenery and Lara's abilities. My only complaint is that a couple sections are too hard (I had to make my boyfriend do them for me) and the rotating camera, which changes the direction Lara is moving - often it wouldd change mid-jump and make her land completely off-course, sometimes to her death. But quickly maneuvering the mouse or HUD button would fix this.
