TOMB RAIDER ANNIVERSARY ---- A PAIN AND FRUSTRATING
Michael T. Gardner, Amazon

Summary: hello i bought TOMB RAIDER ANNIVERSARY and found it to be very hard to deal with, it is very hard to get pass some of the levels, When you have to get LARA to move keyboard wise its difficult and it can be frustrating, sometimes when you get a level you have to pick up objects and treasures and they can be a pain to get to, thats my problem and thats why im stuck, stuck in MADIAS PALACE the flaming pillars, its bad enough being a handicaped person with a slightly bad...
Summary: I don't like games that end with a lot of four-letter-words. I actually like the control system, I just don't like the final levels where you are expected to die 10-15'000 times to accomplish a single jump
Summary: I am sure this is a great game, but do not buy it if you have a Soundblaster sound card or any integrated or aftermarket sound that uses Creative's technology. The game will run but all audio will be glitchy and inaudible. It makes the game unplayable unless you want to just put everything on mute. Until Eidos fixes the issue I cannot recommend this game. Oh, and Legend has the same problem too.
Summary: Could not load it to my MAC. According to the BOX I could play it on my MAC. After loading it found out that the box was wrong. Yes I have the right Recommended System HOWEVER the GHz is 1.8 and my machine is maxed at 1.5. So will have to wait until I get a new computer to play it. So cannot comment on playing it until then.
What did go wrong with this version DONT BUY THE PC VERSION?

Summary: I got this game on PC because i was hoping that it would have better graphics than PS2. Usually it always has better graphics.I even bought a controller for my Computer just for this game so I got real excited, I love Tomb Raider I am one of those people who played the 1st Tomb Raider in 1996 and got hooked ever since. When i installed this game i was excited and couldnt wait. turned it on and i was blown away from the beautiful graphics.
Summary: When I purchased 'Tomb Raider Anniversary' for Windows I was really excited, however when I installed it on my computer (Windows XP) my smile turned upside down. The game didn't work properly, it was glitchy, the main menu for the game wouldn't even display. All that was displayed was a blank screen. That's when I thought ok, I'm sticking to game console video games. And it was my first time trying out a PC game too...aswell as my last.
Summary: Too many tricks to figure out the game. The author needed to put in a save game button. The author will save the game but where he wants to save the game. Every new site requires a different trick to escape. You need help to complete this game the author gives no clues.
Summary: Save yourself some money. Don't buy this game, because it is too hard to control. I have tried a gamepad, an optical mouse, and a keyboard. Forget it! Maybe they have a keyboard just for the game... similar to a control panel on a jet! On the other hand, the puzzles were designed by "Special Ed".
Summary: I remember, fondly, the early Tomb Raider games; I still have Tomb Raider III around here somewhere. Tomb Raider Anniversary is simply, a huge waste of your hard earned cash. Laura is uncontrollable; WASD does not send her in a predetermined NWSE direction but depends, instead on which way she's facing. If she changes direction, so the the direction in which she will be sent by the WASD keys. Why anyone would decide this was a good thing, I do not know.
Summary: If you're a kid with finely-honed, millisecond-sharp gaming instincts, developed over years of repetitive play, you'll probably have a great time. If you're a grown up who, like me, thought you were buying an enjoyable game whose primary challenge is puzzle-solving, then you're screwed. The game is gorgeous, easy to learn, and easy to play. The levels and puzzles are challenging and fun. But when I came to the first BIG boss, the T-Rex, I got destroyed. And then again.
