Summary: I was looking for a good flight sim, this game is a little too much arcade feeling for me, not enough sim when you are flying, but it was fun going through the single player. playing multiplayer is not that great, it is hard to figure out, i had to use a 3rd party software to play multi, and there are not a whole lot of people playing. overall i would not buy this game if i knew what i knew now.
Summary: I thought this title was going to score high ace points for action-packed storylines and the like. I was off. I was bored within the first 20 minutes. This title holds your hands like a child in terms of the storyline. I rather replay the first H.A.W.X. title or even Ace Combat 3, 4, 5, and the Belkan War before I replay H.A.W.X. 2 once more.
Summary: I chose HAWX2 in the hopes of pushing my gaming PC to the limits and challenging head to head air combat. I was after advanced graphics, flight realism, a good variety of aircraft, and LAN play. This game was very obviously designed for and around a standard gaming platform ie, 360 or PS3 for people who know nothing about flight or flight sims. This is strictly an arcade game and if you can accept it for that then you should have a great time.
Summary: I got a free copy of this when I purchased my motherboard here at Newegg. I'm glad I didn't pay money for this disk ............................................................ *Antec Twelve Hundred Full Tower *Intel Core i7 Extreme 940 *EVGA 132-BL-E758-TR LGA 1366 Intel X58 *GeForce GTX 285 1GB 512-bit *Kingston 6 gig *Western Digital 500GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache 2 (Dual Boot-Vista64Prem.
Pros: Very good graphics .....but (see cons)
Cons: This is the only thing the game (if you can call it that) has going for it. It takes more than good graphics to make a good game. After humm, 5-6 hours of play, not all at once, I gave it away!
Summary: the game itself isnt half bad, great visuals and voice command, HORRIBLE KEYBOARD CONTROLS, so unless you want to spend 50 more dollars to enjoy the game with a joystick, this is a no no
Pros: Amazing visuals, fun singleplayer although a little easy
Cons: controls are the killer here, do not buy this game expecting to play it on a keyboard and mouse(requires you to use both sides of your brain), plus if u just tap the UP key you roll forward for like 2 seconds, also caused me the BSOD upon installation
