    Tom Clancys HAWX from Ubisofts Romania Studio puts the player in the cockpit of the latest fighter jets to create a high octane flight experience with plenty of tricks to separate it from the masses.     Ace Combat 6 comes out under the clever guise of a Tom Clancy game. Hilariously gruesome and strangely addictive Better than cherry pie. Edgie takes a respectable step to the forefront. The broken shell of an AvP game wrapped up in pretty packaging. Death by Cube - Danger, Will Robinson Sequel to add Adjectives and hopefully better controls.     Playing HAWX is a lot of fun really, sure it’s not a flight simulator and it’s far from any of the other games bearing Tom Clancy’s name but for what it is it’s a lot of fun, a bit short in the single player mode but fun nonetheless. If you’re looking for a flight simulator game or a dogfighting game then HAWX isn’t what you want really, at least in single player mode. You can go play online and dogfight all day long, but that’s not without it’s drawbacks... Read more

    Despite what you see in the screenshots in this review, H.A.W.X. is as much a flight simulator as Burnout Paradise is a driving sim. Ubisoft’s latest liberty with the Tom Clancy franchise is more akin to Descent or Wing Commander than it is to Microsoft’s Flight Simulator X.     Tom Clancy's Hawx is the newest edition to the Tom Clancy series, and is a combat flight simulator. The game can be played single player (through a campaign), co-op campaigns or versus mode (dogfights). The control system for this game is very usable and caters for users of different skill levels.     IF YOU ARE LIKE ME AND JUST LIKE A DECENT WAR PLANE GAME THEN THIS IS IT.AS YOU PROGRESS THRU THE MISSIONS,EACH GETTING HARDER THAN THE LAST,YOU PICK UP MORE PLANES,PROMOTIONS,WEAPON PACKAGES AND SO FORTH.THE CONTROLS ARE PRETTY STRAIGHT FORWARD FOR THE KEYBOARD AND IF YOU HAVE ANY ADDITIONAL EQUIPTMENT{JOYSTICK}ITS PROBABLY THAT MUCH MORE COOLER.GOOD GAME.
