Summary: First of this game is about the story, no action, easy puzzles, poor graphics, poor controls. That said the story and writing are top notch and has a great sound track that brought back memory's of old classics like Chrono Trigger and other classics. Well done short story that i was able to finish in about 4-5 hours of game play. Take off 1 star because the total lack of any element of action\strategy that other games have and yet still tell a great story.
Summary: This game is nothing short of a masterpiece when it comes to storytelling. The plot kept a hold on me the entire time. I laughed, I teared up, I got angry. Easily one of my favorite indie games. I feel that this game is highly underrated solely because of its graphical display, which is very sad. The people who do this miss so much, and the amount of "gamers" that do this is growing every day. You can't judge a book by its cover, nor should you judge a game the same way.
Summary: Well this is my first serious review of a game here on amazon. I feel so guilty if I don't leave a review and give 5 stars to the game. It's simply amazing and beautiful. Basically, there is no gear/level up in the game nor side quests. The graphic is like 20 years old 16 bits video games. And it's relatively short too. However, the game grasped me so tightly that I was so reluctant to finish it. The story line is elegantly crafted.
Summary: I downloaded To The Moon, played through it once, invited some friends over, then watched one of them play through it. The storyline is top-notch and engrossing. It has outdone what similar Hollywood movies have attempted recently. The characters are well written and truly likeable. My friends and I were constantly giggling at the hilarious dialogue. I especially loved Dr. Watt's sarcastic, cut-to-the-chase personality. The puzzles are very clever and fun.
Summary: "To the Moon" is an achievement in storytelling. It succeeds where so many games fail: it makes you feel. Whether it's making you laugh or making you cry, you're always feeling something, and you're falling in love with its characters a little more every minute. While it might not seem like much of game at times (and that is indeed one of the only valid criticisms that can be leveled against it), "To the Moon" is a game that deserves your attention.
Summary: I'm not usually the sappy, emotional type, but for some reason the story of this game really resonated with me. It's more of an interactive story than a game per se, but what an excellent story that is. Fairly short, but the creator has stated that sequels (and prequels) are coming, so there'll be more! Highly recommended.
Summary: If you've played "To The Moon", you know the beauty of the story and how the music affected you. I don't need to speak to you. However, even if you have NOT played the game, the music is haunting, beautifully simple and complex at the same time. Very enjoyable as a stand-alone CD. I listen to it all the time.
Summary: This game was a great disappointment. The play is very old like donkey kong or of that type. Not much in the way of instructions or help. I got stuck often and never finished it. I regularly play adventure games so I'm not new to video games but I guess i should have tried a demo. Live and learn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
