Summary: I choose to give 5 stars to this game and the other thief games because the dark engine used to make this games has such a feeling to it. The game and the series are unique as you will not find another game like this. I reccommend this game for 2 reasons.
Excerpt: Having completed all three games in the "Thief" series, I decided I would review the 2nd in the series "Thief 2 The Metal Age". This series of games are the best I've ever played (and I've played a lot) I thoroughly enjoyed playing all of them from start to finish.
Summary: Thief 2 is a great game and I played it yesterday for the first time in about 7 years! However, when I play it, there are times when it crashes and doesn't respond... but I think this is more to do with windows XP being too advanced for it than the seller.
Summary: Uptop some Toffs apartment you sneak through the window to hear him muttering in his slumber. You steal his velvet purse and then club him with your blackjack... he starts awake... mumbles some air-and-graces... then collapses K.O. So you think: what can I do now?
Summary: Not much takes me away from my beloved championship manager. When my brother gave me Thief 2, I snarled and growled at the mere thought of a first person game sharing the same hard drive as champo. But, reluctantly, I gave in and played. It was original, enjoyable and challenging.
Summary: Very similar in gameplay and style to its predecessor, this game will have you gripped in its atmosphere and suspense. You take the part of Garret, a professional and skillful thief on a personal mission to aquire wads of cash for himself.
