Summary: I get an error message saying my system doesn't meet minimum requirements. Windows 7 Pro. My system is way beyond specs. I tried reducing the screen resolution to 1044 X 768, loading direct X 9 instead of 10, losing my digital speakers in favor of my old Altec 2.1, etc. Anybody else having trouble?
Pros: cheap price, good reviews
Cons: I'll let you know if I can get it up and running.
Summary: Play Morrowind or Oblivion (or even Baldur's Gate) if you want to see how a decent RPGis done. This is one for the console crowd. Forget it - you'll feel better in the morning.
Cons: Way, way too many cut scenes. And when one is done you're thrown immediately into a battle. So do you save while bad guys are hacking away at you ? If you don't, and die, then you'll have to sit through the cut scene all over again, and again, and again. And there's no way to skip the cut scene. ...
Summary: Don't believe all the reviews by Gamespot, etc., on cover - never had so much trouble with a game.
Pros: I could have spent my money on heroin and become a heroin addict, thus ruining my life.
Cons: Download 1.5GB from Polish websites (better check a Polish translator for the word 'Download'). Official website flat out won't work for the download so search the web. After a COUPLE DAYS of downloading, game still crashes Windows the second it's started. My computer meets all game requirements....
Summary: Bought the Enhanced edition from steam. 1- Game is not that fun, you cannot fast travel so you have to run around all the time. 2- Combat dynamics are broken, enemies can block indefinitely but you run out of vigor when you block. And YOU are the super-human mutant guy.
Summary: To me, playing a game is not like watching a movie. Yet this game feels like a movie: there are too many cutscenes. The button I press the most is "Y" to skip each little dialogue... and I pressed that button a lot. This is not fun at all. That "game" is now in the bin.
Summary: Terribly overrated game. And I'm a big fan of RPGs. Imprecise movement controls for combat, too many QTEs, too much forced direction. And despite impressive story and dialogue, some of the voice acting leaves something to be desired. Very disappointed.
Summary: Potentially a really fine game which I shall never discover owing to the appalling control system, I've tried many ways suggested in various forums to improve the mouse control in particular, but none have had any useful effect, leaving the game effectively unplayable.
Summary: This game has to be the most tedious and fiddly RPG I've ever played. A lot of missions involve talking endlessly to people. On and on it goes - talk to this guy, now go across the map (no fast-travel for you!) and talk to that guy, then off to some other place to talk to another guy, etc.
