Summary: I, like others, tried to like this game. It started out pretty decent, I tried to look past the horrible neverwinter-nights camera angles, but I finally gave up after working like a peasant for every nit-wit who needed their garbage taken out. What gets really frustrating is that you MUST complete very trivial (and annoying) tasks to progress in the storyline. It is fine for a few side quests, but this goes overboard.
Horrible camera movement, incredibly bad combat/fighting, bad mouse sensitivity, etc...

Summary: I only paid $10 for this game and i really wish i could return it. Pros: Good Graphics Cons: Camera/view is horrible. It is so sensitive, even when i have it turned all the way down. It is so quick/jumpy it is hard to aim and move around. Mouse: There is no sensitivity setting for this, so i tried turning down the camera sensitivity but it didnt help. It is sooo hard to move, control and aim.
Summary: So i got this game when i was younger for free from my brother but i didn't play it much and eventually lost it. now amazon is selling it for 5 dollars so i had to get it. big mistake. The combat is very buggy and attack moves are not responsive which ruins the whole game. also the ability to have sex with people in the game is not cool, having wives or having sex in video games is for losers.
Summary: The game had a good story line but I hated the way you fought on the game. The graphics were okay and certainly not the best quality, the fighting and leveling up was odd and unaccustomed. I mainly hated the way the main character fought so I stopped playing the game. I do hope the sequel isn't quite as bad as this game was.
Summary: I tried installing the game on Windows 7 64 bit. Program crashes to desktop on startup. I dual booted into Vista 32 bit. Program crashes in exactly the same place. I have the most up-to-date drivers for my NVidia 250 GTS card. I read through all the various support forums. I tried installing and then running as administrator in both Windows 7 and Vista. Always crashes on the first intro movie.
Summary: I understand that in the real world you would fight different opponents in a different manner, like you'd have to be fast with a slow brute, or hard hitting with a weak/fast guy and so on and so forth, but in games it shouldn't be such a pain! One reviewer here complained that he was doing normal damage against some foes and next to nothing against others.
Summary: Ok, I thought this was a cool game. But early on, somehow, I must have killed some sort of guard. I swear I didn't, because it started happening right after I was done killing some monsters. What, you say? Ah, well, an near invincible head hunter follows and engages you at every load screen. You can't buy him off... he just spawns again, or guards show up to finish you off. Whatever moron thought this was a good idea should be strung up.
Summary: Gameplay This game is no fun. First of all, the combat is very boring. There are not many camera options so you're stuck in this psuedo behind-the-back view. You can barely zoom out, nor can you go into a more immersive first-person view. The quests are boring - usually fetch quests or kill-a-thons. Like in most RPGs, there are a million useless items in the world (e.g. food, wine, crafting materials). Protagonist Geralt is a pasty-white man.
Summary: I was very disappointed with the fighting techniques that the creators used for this game. It is the same attack move over and over, making the game boring. The setting was great, and everything else was good, but the attacking was so bad I couldn't play the game.
