AWESOME GAME I WOULD RECOMEND IT TO EVERYONE!!!!!!
24 June 2014
Summary: I received my game the Witcher, and I have to say it is AWESOME. The only problem that I had was after installing it on to my computer I had to go to the Witcher Official Site to get download the update 1.5. Witch is for Windows 7 and Windows 8, and Windows 8.1. I am not going to take away a star for that because other than that issue the GAME is AWESOME!!!!!
Summary: I am ashamed to admit.. I had heard very little of the Witcher until the Witcher 3 trailers popped up. I owned the first two, having bought them on a sale, but I hadn't really played them. Watching Geralt slaughter the three men that were torturing the girl in the trailer was just about the coolest thing I had ever seen, so I had to get into the game. I gave played through the first one and am partially through the second one, and The Witcher is now in my top ten games.
Summary: Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this game. The story line is deep and complex, with substantive consequences for the player's actions, and with no clear good or evil path. The world is big, and while you can't roam completely freely, there's plenty to explore. Tons of side quests are available, and if you put the time in to do them, it can really help grow the character, and earn gold as well. The visuals are good, if not extraordinary.
Summary: Ok so, I decided to pick this up since it was less than $10 because I wanted to try out a sword fighting game to see if I like the genre before making the leap to the time suck of SkyRim. Well, it says open world adventure it is far from open world. Your character can't jump up and down. And something as simple as taking a shortcut by trying to jump from a less than 3 foot high hill or flight of stairs can't be done.
Summary: Assessment of three personal favorite swordsman role-playing games -- The Witcher Enhanced (TWE), Dragon Age: Origins (DAO), The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (ESV). Personal recommendation: If you have $25 to spend, buy both TWE and DAO. Wait for ESV to drop in price later. TWE and DAO together combined provide more gameplay fun than ESV alone. Here is why.... TWE's main strength is its overall visual quality. DAO's main strength is emotional content.
