Summary: The graphics are basically the only thing keeping this game together. Unnecessarily long, pointless dialogue on -every single clickable item-, humour-driven but seldom funny, several pixelhunt puzzles, and a stereotypical story to top it off.
Summary: My overall experience with the game suffered from some technical problems: frequent crashes to desktop, stuck at startup or when pressing ESC to menu or stuck during cut-scenes. The puzzles are varied, some are really cool, some just OK and a few just completely illogical.
Summary: I want to love this game but I can't, because for me this game is not that good. Visually it's really stunning, fluid animations and hand drawn backgrounds really got to me, and I thought I would love it, but the way the puzzles are set-up are really problematic.

Summary: As a huge fan of point-and-click adventure games I'm always happy to see new additions to this genre. Especially when so much time has been spent making awesome, handdrawn backgrounds, cutscenes and characters. Graphically The Whispered World is stunning, absolutely no complaints there.
Summary: Me and my wife really love this game. The whole game looks beautiful with hand drawn locations and humor of the main character is something you can't forget. Worth buying and if you like adventure/mystery/point&click games I'm sure you'll love this one also.

Summary: /This review contains no plot spoilers/ The Whispered World is a modern "old-school style" point-and-click adventure story, along much the same lines as last summer's excellent remake of Monkey Island. How does The Whispered World measure up to such gaming classics? Very well, so far.
