Poor game play & broken

Summary: Rather than you determine what objects you need to be successful at each level, this game tells you what you need then has you stop in each screen and find pieces of the required object -- booooorrrrriiiiiinnnnnnggggg! At least it doesn't make you stop in each new screen and hunt through a pile of junk that has little if anything to do with the scheme of the game. But this isn't much better.
Summary: I had several problems with the program in that I would get to s particular point and it would no longer work. I reloaded it several times to no avail, it just stopped working. The game play itself was boring too, as it required several trips to the same places and it the mini puzzles were repetitive.
Summary: Wow! What a letdown this game turned out to be compared with it's predecessor Treasures of Mystery Island: The Ghost Ship. The story was lame and lacked the excitement Ghost Ship had from it's first scenes. I quickly lost interest because it told me what to do next instead of allowing me to figure it out myself. I became bored early into the game and just wanted to get it over with.
Summary: All the positive reviews led me to purchase this one. I stuck it out through the end, which actually took me a long while as I had no motivation to play for any length of time. Personally, it was one of the least enjoyable puzzles games I have purchased at Amazon. Obviously, many others disagree so it's really a matter of the type of puzzles that interest you.
